Noteshelf User Guides

In this article, we will guide you through the process of utilizing Noteshelf for your digital products.

Once you have imported your file into the Noteshelf app, please keep in mind that in order for the hyperlinks and tabs to work on Noteshelf, please ensure the “Read-Only” option is selected. To start writing on pages, click the “Pen” icon.

  1. When you come across the "Read-Only" mode icon, it indicates that you can interact with the hyperlinks in the notebook by clicking on them.

  2. On the other hand, when you see the "Pen" mode icon, it signifies that you have access to the writing tools and can make changes or additions to the content.

Duplicating pages

Feel free to duplicate or copy as many pages as you need in your planner/notebook. You can easily move these pages around and place them wherever you prefer within the planner/notebook. This flexibility allows you to organize your content exactly the way you want it.

  1. Click on the "Side Menu" icon in the upper right corner

  2. Go to the page that you want to duplicate

  3. Click on the "Three Dots" icon in the left corner of the thumbnail page

  4. Select "Copy Background" to copy the paper template

  5. Navigate to the page where you want to paste the template after the section divider page Click on "Paste" to insert the copied template

Adding a cover

For certain planner or notebook covers that come in multiple files, you will first need to import and save these files on your iPad. Once they are saved on your device, you can then import them into the GoodNotes app. This allows you to have access to and use the different cover options within GoodNotes for a personalized and customized experience.

  1. Split your iPad screen into two by using the multitasking feature.

  2. Hold and drag the cover into the Noteshelf app.

  3. The cover will appear on the last page of the notebook.

  4. Click on the "Three Dots" icon and select the "Cut" option.

  5. In the thumbnail view, scroll up to the very top and select the first page.

Rearranging pages & deleting pages

Open the thumbnail view and locate the page you want to move. Hold and drag the page to the desired position within the notebook/planner.

Adding stickers

In your purchase, you have been provided with individual PNG sticker files. To use the stickers in the Notability app, you will need to download and save them on your iPad using the Files app or a cloud drive.

  1. Open the "Files" app and navigate to the location where you saved the stickers.

  2. Simply drag the sticker file and drop it into your notebook in the Notability app.

  3. You will see that the sticker is now placed in your notebook.

  4. To further customize the sticker, you can crop, resize, or copy it by clicking on the sticker.

Adding a color scheme

  1. Select the "Pen" tool, and a small window will appear.

  2. Click on the "Plus" icon in the window.

  3. Enter the new color code in the "HEX" box.
