iOS shortcuts can enhance your planner by integrating with Apple/Google Calendar and Reminders, allowing you to receive notifications for your scheduled events and tasks. This guide will walk you through the installation process.
In order to use the integration, you MUST install the Apple Shortcut onto your iPad. (Please download the shortcut file from your download dashboard.) This will enable communication with the integrated hyperlinks in your planner and direct them to open your calendar apps and Reminders app when activated.
Please note that this feature only works on iOS systems
Ensure your device is running the latest version of iOS or macOS
Please go to iPad Settings > Shortcuts > Turn on Private Sharing
Open the App Store on your iPad, iPhone, or Mac.
In the search bar, type "Shortcuts" and select the "Shortcuts" app from the search results.
Download and install the Shortcuts app on your device.
Download shortcuts from the download dashboard.
Open the shortcut link, which will prompt you to add the shortcut to your Shortcuts app.
Once you click on the "download shortcut" button, you should be directed to the shortcuts app, and click on the "Set Up Shortcut"
Then please select your preferred note-taking app for the planner. If you use GoodNotes, simply click "Add Shortcut" to proceed.
Please ensure that you have Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Apple Reminder applications installed on your iPad.
With the shortcut installed and configured, you can now use it to receive notifications, view your planner events, and manage your tasks seamlessly with Apple Calendar and Reminders.
